Yes the db opens and I set the views at the top of the code. The problem is that the user set the criteria and this changes everytime that the report gets run. for example it will be employer A. Male leaving in city X. If employer A is the biggest one then the first collection will have more than 30 thousand records. Then I have to cycle through all of them one by one to check which ones are males and creating a new collection with just males and then go again through that smaller collection to see who lives in city X. That is why my question if it will be better to move the information into arrays or keep it with collections?
